The Laurinburg District was honored to host Bishop W. Darin Moore, Presiding Prelate of the Eastern Episcopal District, and Missionary Supervisor Mrs. Devieta Moore for a powerful District Revival on March 19-20. During their visit, Bishop Moore visited Little Marsh Chapel AME Zion Church.
Bishop Moore's passion ignites a joyful revival, filling hearts with hope and renewal.
The Little Marsh Chapel Praise Team and Choir had the privilege of participating in worship through song during the District Revival.
Surrounded by Love, Representing with Grace: Ms. Mary McNeill at the Golden Royalty Pageant. On April 13, 2025, the LMC Church family proudly stood behind Ms. Mary McNeill as she represented us with dignity and elegance at the Laurinburg District's Golden Royalty Pageant for seniors. Though she didn’t take home the crown, her poise, grace, and unwavering spirit made her a true queen in our eyes. We celebrate her courage and are grateful for the beautiful way she carried our church family into the spotlight.

Little Marsh Chapel “Teen Talks Youth and Children spread Easter joy at a local rest home! They played Easter bingo, an intergenerational activity that fosters compassion and love between young and old. The kids enjoyed their time with the residents and can’t wait to return.

The AME Zion Church and Senior Bishop of the AME Zion Church leads the Mortgage Burning ceremony! To God be all the glory for allowing us to celebrate this incredible milestone.
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord unto me. On March 3, 2024, the Little Marsh Chapel AMEZ Church family celebrated our Mortgage Burning Ceremony. We are in awe of God’s faithfulness and unfailing love. The morning started with a Powerful Word by Rev. Dr. Hanna Broome, President of the North Carolina Council of Churches and Director of Religious Affairs at Repairers of the Breech, “I am the Evidence!” Mark 1: 40-45. Yes! We are the evidence of God's unwavering grace and mercy down through the years! The Celebration culminated at 2:00 p.m., with a challenge from The Right Reverend Dr. Kenneth Monroe, Presiding Prelate, Eastern North Carolina Episcopal District, The AME Zion Church, Senior Bishop of the AME Zion Church, a call to action “I am Obligated!” Acts 5: 27, We don’t serve for the accolades, but because we are obligated due to our love of God. We are excited about what God has in store for the body of Christ in this new season.

What a beautiful and Spirit-filled Mother’s Day celebration at Little Marsh Chapel. The morning began with a delicious breakfast lovingly prepared and served by the men of the church, setting the tone for a day filled with honor and gratitude.
Rev. Jasper Tymes, Cameron Grove AME Zion Church, delivered a powerful and inspiring message that stirred hearts and reminded us of the immeasurable worth of every mother.
The men led the service, and the congregation came together in a heartfelt service filled with love, appreciation, and reverence. Through moving tributes, prayers, and special gifts, we celebrated the women who shape our homes, our church, and our lives with unwavering faith and unconditional love.
To all mothers, thank you. We see you. We honor you. We love you.

On Sunday, June 15, 2025, we joyfully celebrated the incredible fathers and father figures who bless our lives and our church family. The day began with a delicious Father’s Day Breakfast—a heartfelt way to honor the love, leadership, and sacrifices of the men who shape our homes and communities.
We were also blessed with a powerful message from Rev. Christiana Spears. A humble teacher, her message resonated deeply. It reminded us of the lasting impact of a godly man’s integrity and love.
Rev. Spears, originally from Ghana and now residing in Dunn, NC, has been in ministry for over a decade. She faithfully led and mentored others in Ghana and now serves as the founder of Grace Speaks Ministries—touching lives and spreading the gospel both locally and abroad.
