Mother’s Day Celebration 2026

“When a Mother Weeps” Luke 4:11–16

Rev. Fitzgerald Lee of Paradise AME Zion Church delivered a moving and impactful message that stirred every heart in the room. The message reminded us that a mother’s tears are never ignored by God. Her prayers carry power, her faith brings breakthrough, and even in her silent struggles, God is already moving on her behalf.

Honoring Our Pastor with Love and Appreciation

Bro. Cedric Thompson, Chairman of the Trustee Board, and Trustee Board Member Sis. Delores Cromartie proudly presented our beautiful pastor with flowers and a special gift on behalf of the church family. To her left is her son, Douglas Baggett, sharing in this special moment of love and appreciation. We are grateful for our pastor’s faithful leadership, compassionate heart, and unwavering dedication to God’s people.

A Living Legacy of Grace and Faith

Mother Mary H. Maynor, who is joyfully approaching her 99th birthday, joined us for our Mother’s Day Celebration. Her presence was a beautiful reminder of God’s faithfulness, strength, and enduring grace through the generations. During the celebration, she blessed the congregation by reading a heartfelt poem that inspired and encouraged everyone in attendance. We honor and celebrate Mother Maynor for the wisdom, love, and legacy she continues to share with our church family.

Celebrating heritage, honoring legacy, and giving God glory!
